Ed Gein is one of the world's most infamous killers.

His true life horror story has inspired multiple film characters, from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre to The Silence of The Lambs and Psycho, and now has been told in Netflix's latest true crime drama.

The show focuses on Gein's isolated upbringing on a rural farm near Plainfield, Wisconsin, and his relationship with his overbearing mother Augusta before he is arrested for the murder of Bernice Worden in 1957.
