**M62 Collision Causes Major Delays for Drivers**

A serious collision on the M62 has led to the closure of two lanes, resulting in significant delays for motorists this evening. The incident occurred on the eastbound carriageway between junction 24 for Huddersfield and junction 25 for Brighouse.

Emergency services, including police, fire crews, and paramedics, are currently on the scene. Highways Officers are also present to assist with traffic management. Drivers have been advised to prepare for long delays, which are continuing to increase.

As of 5:58 PM, at least six emergency service vehicles are reported to be on site, comprising two ambulances, two fire trucks, and two police cars.
