Alabama football is back on the winning side against Vanderbilt.

One season after losing to the Commodores on the road as more than a three-touchdown favorite, the Crimson Tide dominated Vanderbilt at Bryant-Denny Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 4, winning 30-14 in a top-25 SEC grudge match.

And with a win against a top-25 Vanderbilt team , Alabama continues its rise up the college football ranks.

Alabama landed at No. 8 in Week 7 of the US LBM Coaches Poll. The Crimson Tide remains behind teams such as No. 6 Oklahoma and No. 7 Indiana and ahead of Georgia, Texas Tech and LSU.
