In the second season since he pressed reset in a drive to gain commercial traction, sustainable fashion champion Benjamin Benmoyal continued to pay tribute to vintage styles, combining them with sportswear references in a medley geared for young fashionistas and their eclectic styling choices.
Benmoyal referenced old furnishing fabrics and wallpapers from grandma’s house as his starting point, and there was a stylish matriarch serving guests with miniature cupcakes at his presentation.
He studied vintage pieces for the cut and construction of lacy slips, cropped sweaters and the like before crafting his own versions using deadstock yarns and fabrics.
