The Fox Theatre has announce the next title in the Coca-Cola Film Series. On Oct. 29, there will be a special screening of the silent classic “The Phantom of the Opera.”
The 1925 film will be brought to life with a live accompaniment by acclaimed organist Ken Double on the Fox’s Mighty Mo, a 4-manual, 42-rank Möller pipe organ custom-built in 1929. It is one of the largest and most renowned theater organs in the country and is a true marvel of engineering and acoustics.
In addition to the screening, audiences can look forward to Phantom-inspired activations that will especially appeal to history buffs with glimpses into the Fox Theatre’s own archival history with the title, as well as perfect photo opportunities.
