PHILADELPHIA — Eagles left guard Landon Dickerson suffered an ankle injury with 1:49 left in the first quarter against the Denver Broncos and is questionable to return.
Dickerson limped off to the sidelines and had his ankle taped by a trainer.
Veteran backup Brett Toth has stepped in for Dickerson and could finish out the game.
After getting meniscus surgery during training camp, Dickerson returned for Week 1 and played the first four games. His toughness is admirable, but he hasn’t played well due to the injury, allowing three sacks and 13 pressures, according to Pro Football Focus.
According to former NFL doctor David J. Chao , Dickerson likely suffered a high ankle sprain.
The three-time Pro Bowler is watching the game from the bench.
