BRAINERD — A new exhibit of artwork by artist Diane Runberg is on display through November at the Brainerd Public Library, 416 S Fifth St., Brainerd.

The exhibit consists of 16 inspirational acrylic and mixed media paintings. This exhibit comes at the perfect time because the seasons are currently changing, and the artist takes much of her inspiration from these cycles.

Runberg has always enjoyed painting and experimenting with various mediums, from the freedom and flow of watercolors, to the complex nature of collage, as well as the brilliance of acrylics.

“It wasn’t until retiring from careers in banking and real estate appraising that I had time to pursue my love of art,” she said.
