New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara moved up in one all-time NFL list during Sunday's game against the New York Giants .

With his second catch of Sunday's game, which came in the second quarter, Kamara notched the 588th catch of his career, which placed him fifth all-time for receptions from running backs in league history.

He passed 2003 Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee Marcus Allen with the first-half grab. Kamara also passed Tiki Barber, who he was tied with at 586 catches, going into the game.

The snag put him 22 yards away from Keith Byars, who had 610 career receptions at No. 4 on the list. Kamara, 30, is 179 catches away from passing Marshall Faulk, who has 767 receptions, as the all-time leader in the category.
