CINCINNATI – For the first time this season, the Lions will have a new starter upfront along their offensive line.
Veteran left tackle Taylor Decker , who was downgraded from questionable to doubtful Sunday morning, is inactive and will not play today. Decker has been dealing with a shoulder injury. He's missed most practices the first four weeks of the season to get his shoulder feeling good enough to play in the games. Hopefully a week of rest will go a long way in relieving some of the discomfort Decker's been dealing with.
The Lions have options to start in Decker's place at left tackle, but it will likely be second-year tackle Giovanni Manu making his first career start. Manu was drafted in the third round out of the University of British Columbia in last year's NFL Draft.
