Texas and Penn State out of latest AP Top 25 College Football poll

The latest Associated Press College Football poll for Week 7 added another shake up at the top. Miami surged back to No. 2 after a convincing win over Florida State, while Texas Tech reached its highest ranking in more than a decade. However, the story of the week was the teams out of the rankings.

Penn State and Texas fell out of the Top 25 for the first time since 2022.

This came after UCLA handled the Nittany Lions for their first win of the season. Also, Arch Manning and the Longhorns were handed another loss by the struggling Florida Gators .
