Late last month, Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Jeff Hoffman suggested that the team change their headgear.
Scuffling in the waning days of the regular season, the club’s closer floated the idea of the squad returning to the retro white-panel hats they wore during Hall of Fame weekend earlier this summer. The ballcaps resemble the ones the Jays wore 1992 and ’93, when the team won back-to-back World Series.
