Srinagar, Oct 05 : The Directorate of School Education Jammu (DSEJ) on Sunday announced the closure of all government and private schools in the Jammu Division for two days in view of warnings of heavy rainfall.

An order issued by Dr. Naseem Javaid Chowdhary (JKAS), Director of School Education Jammu, stated that the decision was taken in response to a weather advisory from the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), which has forecasted heavy to very heavy rainfall across various parts of the division.

“To ensure the safety and security of students and staff, all government and private schools in Jammu Division will remain closed on October 6 and 7, 2025,” Dr. Naseem said.
