Keenan Allen has reached 1,000 career receptions. And he's the fastest player in NFL history to do so.

The Chargers wide receiver, who entered Sunday's game with 998 career catches, hit the milestone in the second quarter against the Commanders on a pass from Justin Herbert.

Allen hit the mark in his 159 th career game, which surpassed Hall of Fame wide receiver Marvin Harrison's record of 167 games. Allen became the 16 th player in NFL history to have at least 1,000 catches.
