ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. — The top-ranked Ferris State football team made a statement in its Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) opener on Saturday, as it racked up 788 yards of total offense in a 66-0 road win over Roosevelt.

Freshman quarterback Wyatt Bower was 20-for-28 passing for 371 yards and five touchdowns and rushed for 18 yards and one score on two carries to pace the Ferris State offensive attack. The road win extends the defending Division II national champions’ winning streak to 19 games.
