PALESTINE, Texas — Palestine Police assisted with two arrests involving a case gone cold for two years.

San Jacinto Sheriff's Office said detectives reopened an investigation that initially went cold after information received from Texas Department of Family and Protective service. The complaints alleged sexual misconduct and possible compelling prostitution in San Jacinto County.

Officers were able to identify Glyn Banning and Jeremy Waltrapp, who were found to have engaged in the trafficking of members of their own families. Investigators said they received statements from outcry victims and witnesses indicating Banning and Waltrapp's engagement in human trafficking.
