Prior to Friday's practice, Jets HC Aaron Glenn ruled nickel CB Michael Carter II (concussion protocol) out of Sunday's game vs. the Cowboys. Glenn was waiting for more clarity on edge Jermaine Johnson (calf) and RB Kene Nwangwu (hamstring), who both did not practice Wednesday and Thursday, before finalizing their game status.

RB Braelon Allen, who sustained a knee injury in Monday's 27-21 loss to the Dolphins, will decide whether to opt for surgery. Allen, who was placed on injured reserve Thursday, is expected to miss 8-to-12 weeks.
