ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – It's back once again, the Greek Festival took over the Huning Highlands neighborhood in Downtown Albuquerque. This weekend was the 50th year the festival has been held.

The festival was held at teh St. George Church, showcasing Greek cuisine and culture. Those in the community say this is a great way to come together, all in line with Balloon Fiesta.

"And for us, it helps us keep our culture alive, right, so we have this to look forward to every year. Year after year, and it gives us an opportunity to share our culture and our faith right here in Downtown Albuquerque," says dance organizer Andrew Pavlides.

The event wrapped up Sunday around 4:00 p.m.
