Duran Lantink ‘s controversial Fall/Winter 2025 showcase is still being talked about and referenced months later, so when the designer announced he’d be making his Jean Paul Gaultier debut this season, we knew it was going to be a big one. Titled “JUNIOR,” the SS26 collection paid homage to Gaultier’s ever-iconic Junior line from the ’80s and ’90s, the very moment that Lantink fell in love with the brand.

Repositioning “fashion as freedom,” Lantink explores what Jean Paul Gaultier means to him today. The result? According to the show notes, five core words came to mind: fun, energetic, modern, urgent and alive. In the designer’s signature style, JPG classics were reinvented through twists and turns, distortions and drama and his ever-growing urge to shock and awe.
