BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) - ‘Construction Fest’ brought young ones to Church St. Saturday.
Kids were able to climb into fire trucks, excavators and tractors and learn about construction vehicles.
Kids could decorate their own hard-hat and also join a story time put on by the Fletcher Free Library.
Locals say it’s a great way to bring people to Church St. amid all the construction going on around town, according to Burlington resident, Corey Harman.
“I think it’s a good opportunity to bring people down here because I know the construction kind of scared people off, so I think this is awesome for the community to bring people together,” he said.
