It’s a Skub Day in Seattle, as the Detroit Tigers square off against the Seattle Mariners in Game 2 of the ALDS at 8:03 p.m. on Sunday, with Tigers ace Tarik Skubal taking the bump with a 1-0 series lead.

Detroit won in extra innings on Saturday night, scoring one run in the top of the 11th inning to win, 3-2, and take the first game in the best-of-five series.

Game 2 in Seattle is the second start for Skubal during this run, and his last outing was dazzling: 7.2 innings and 14 strikeouts against Cleveland in what turned into a Game 1 win for Detroit in the Wild Card series.

The Tigers will certainly be hoping for a similar sort of performance from Skubal as he faces off against Seattle’s Luis Castillo, who sports a 2.60 ERA at T-Mobile Park this season.
