Canadian Wings of Rescue volunteer Jonathan Monahan’s been flying planes since he was a kid.
“I think it was 12 years old, actually, and it was birthday present, so that’s how I got my first taste,” says Wings of Rescue volunteer pilot Jonathan Monahan.
And he was hooked. Jonathan’s love of flying took off during more lessons and several years in Air Cadets.

“I definitely like adventure,” he says from his cockpit. “I definitely like the freedom as well.”
The chartered professional accountant’s had his private pilot’s license and a share in this plane for more than a decade now and this past summer, Jonathan added a new flying experience to his sky-high adventures.
