Amid public outrage, a police officer has been sent to the reserve police lines for allegedly assaulting a student accused of speeding, according to officials. The incident came to light when a video surfaced online showing Sub-Inspector Amit Vikram Tripathi physically attacking the student, which led to swift action from authorities.
