After a disastrous, winless six games thus far, Oregon State football has parted ways with special teams coordinator Jamie Christian, OSU announced Oct. 5.
The change comes on the back of an 0-6 start to the season , the worst for Oregon State since 1991, which has shone a spotlight on the faults of the special teams unit. Through six games, OSU’s special teams have missed five field goals, botched numerous snaps and punts and provided opposing offenses with countless opportunities.
