PULLMAN, Wash. — First responders tackled an apartment fire in Pullman on Sunday.

According to Pullman city officials, it happened in the area of Northwest Larry and North Yates around 6 p.m.

Officials said the fire is out, but the situation at Larry Street is ongoing. They’re asking people to stay out of the area.

Responding agencies included Pullman Fire, Pullman Police and Moscow Fire.

The American Red Cross said the incident impacted around 20 apartment units. They opened up an emergency shelter on Sunday for people impacted at the Pullman Parks and Recreation Center.
