CINCINNATI -- David Montgomery tossed a touchdown pass and ran for another in his return to his hometown as the Detroit Lions hung on to beat the Bengals 37-24 Sunday before a disgruntled Cincinnati crowd.
The Lions (4-1) were rolling to their fourth straight blowout win before the Bengals made it close with Jake Browning's three fourth-quarter touchdown passes. Two went to Ja'Marr Chase, who finished with six catches and 110 yards; he also made three tackles on the day, bringing down the defender after all three Browning interceptions.
The Lions have scored at least 30 points in all four wins. The Bengals (2-3) lost their third straight without Joe Burrow.
