MAYSVILLE, Ky. —

A missing Pittsburgh-area woman was found safe in Kentucky this weekend as police arrested her husband.

Earlier in the week, Lydia Nelson (Prince) was reported missing after police say she had been kidnapped earlier in the week by her husband, Shawn Prince, 29. Advertisement

According to an update from Scottdale police early Saturday morning, Nelson and Prince were located after their car was spotted on a roadside camera in Morehead, Kentucky. Kentucky State Police and other local agencies were able to locate the vehicle in a parking lot of a hotel in Maysville, Kentucky.

Prince was taken into custody and is currently awaiting extradition to Westmoreland County.

Lydia Nelson (Prince) was also found safe and able to return to her family.
