The Indian Postal Department has documented historical importance and spread its legacy across the country and abroad through postage stamps, said Sudhakar Mallya, Senior Superintendent of Posts, Mangaluru Division.

He was speaking after releasing a special postal cover at the Press Club on Monday, organised to commemorate the golden jubilee celebrations of the Dakshina Kannada Working Journalists’ Association.

Mallya noted that the postal department has been providing various public services, including accident insurance and health insurance schemes, while also improving the quality of postal services.
