NEW YORK (WABC) -- Officials announced charges against 10 suspects -- seven adults and three juveniles -- on Monday for their alleged roles in three separate shootings in the Bronx.
Authorities say all three mass shootings were sparked by individuals feeling disrespected on social media.
It comes as the end of summer was marred with extreme gang violence. Within an 11-day period in August, four people were killed, seven were wounded and 70 shots were fired.
That includes a shooting in August during a basketball tournament in Baychester that left two people dead -- a 32-year-old man and a 17-year-old girl who died a week after being shot in the face.
