1Bergenfield, NJ – A 40-year-old man from Ridgefield Park was arrested after reportedly assaulting a local rabbi on Sussex Road, an attack that left two residents with minor injuries, according to the Bergenfield Police Department . Officials identified the suspect as Jeffrey Zicchinella , who allegedly exited his vehicle and attacked the rabbi during a confrontation late Sunday morning.

Police said a nearby resident intervened to help the victim, resulting in a struggle that caused minor injuries to both the rabbi and the Good Samaritan. Officers quickly arrived at the scene and took Zicchinella into custody without further incident.
