PHILADELPHIA – The Denver Broncos were down 17-3 at the start of the fourth quarter, appearing to be the fifth team in five weeks to lose to the Eagles .
However, the combination of an early fourth quarter touchdown, old adage, a few late adjustments, and a risky, aggressive decision by head coach Sean Payton led to the Broncos looking like an entirely different team in the final 15 minutes of the game, scoring 11 unanswered points to defeat the Eagles 21-17 at Lincoln Financial Field, improving their record to 3-2 while handing the Eagles their first loss of the season (4-1).
