The International Cricket Council (ICC) officially reprimanded and handed one demerit point to Pakistan batter Sidra Amin on Monday for breaching the Code of Conduct during the 2025 Women’s World Cup match against India in Colombo.

Amin top-scored for Pakistan in the one-sided match with a knock of 81 before her team was bowled out for 159 in the chase of India’s 247 at the R Premadasa Stadium on Sunday. After she got out in the 40th over, mistiming a scoop straight to Harmanpreet Kaur at square-leg, Amin slammed the bat on the pitch in frustration before walking off begrudgingly.

With Amin getting no support on the other end, the Women in Green lost the match by 88 runs.
