Netflix's latest true crime addition has become the must-watch title of the moment, despite setting an unwanted record.

Monster: The Ed Gein Story is now streaming and marks the third season in the popular anthology series. It's the brainchild of Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan, who also collaborated on Hollywood and The Watcher for Netflix .

In previous seasons, the show has delved into the lives of notorious killers such as Jeffrey Dahmer and the Menendez brothers. This time, the spotlight is on Ed Gein , who murdered at least two women and robbed graves.

Gein used human skin and body parts to create household items, masks and suits, leading many to speculate that he was the inspiration behind horror films like Psycho, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Silence of the Lambs. View 2 I
