Stefon Diggs said he was nostalgic before kickoff against the Buffalo Bills . Then he broke their hearts.

Diggs and Buffalo quarterback Josh Allen shared a hug and I love yous at midfield after the New England Patriots wide receiver bullied his former team in a 23-20 victory at Highmark Stadium.

"I love you," Allen said, patting Diggs on the head.

"Love you too, bro," Diggs replied.

It was a far cry from their awkward, silent, meme-worthy side-eye exchange a year ago when Diggs was with the Houston Texans .
