Trail repair in Rochester: Cascade Lake sections close Oct 6

ROCHESTER, Minn. — Sections of the Cascade Lake Trail will be closed for maintenance on October 6 and 7.

The City of Rochester say sthe work aims to fill cracks to improve the trail's surface for walkers and bikers. The closures will start at the east end near the Highway 52 underpass and progress westward along both sides of Cascade Lake.

The maintenance schedule runs from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., allowing materials to cure properly.

The trail will reopen each evening, with full access expected by October 8, weather permitting.
