The start of Desert Empire League play didn't disappoint as there were multiple game-winning performances worth of a Friday Night Hero accolade.

And what about all those Desert Valley League vs. Sun Valley League games? Yards and points aplenty.

But before we look at this week's Friday Night Hero nominees, let's look back at who you voted for last week.

You voted and you chose Twentynine Palms receiver and cornerback Logan Candelaria as your weekly winner. Good choice. Candaleria was instrumental in the Wildcats' third straight win as he had two touchdown receptions and also forced a fumble and recovered it on defense.
