Assault outside Hwy. 7 store leads to charge for man

A man was arrested after police say an assault occurred in a parking lot outside a store on Highway 7 in Otonabee-South Monaghan Township Friday.

“The caller stated that one male approached the other after leaving the store and after a brief exchange of words, began striking the first male. The accused then left the area,” say Peterborough County Ontario Provincial Police.
