The first weekend of October marked the official halfway point of the 2025 Rhode Island high school football season and the games didn’t disappoint.

Big rivalries ruled the weekend but there were great performances all over Rhode Island starting on Thursday and ending with Saturday’s two matinees. Finding players to nominate for the Providence Journal Week 4 Player of the Week wasn’t difficult, but getting that list down to five wasn’t easy.

So who should win this week’s award? As always, we’ll leave that up to our readers.
