Bhubaneswar : The HDFC Bank Ltd recently flagged off a literacy van to promote the government’s flagship loan schemes for farmers and budding entrepreneurs. The event was attended by Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati, Governor of Odisha, who appreciated the bank’s commitment to serving the rural population and providing easy access to loans and services.
The Governor encouraged bankers to contribute more to society by implementing social security schemes and other flagship programs of the state and central governments. He emphasised the importance of educating customers on financial inclusion in both rural and urban areas.
