Gerhard Struber has outlined his and Bristol City’s plans for the October international break, with the Robins set to play one in-house game and use the extended interval to address the “one or other gap” that has proved costly in their recent performances.

City headed into this month's international fixtures in a frustrating fashion, with a 2-1 defeat to Queens Park Rangers at Ashton Gate stretching the Reds' winless run in the Championship to four matches.

Having taken the lead through Emil Riis after 32 minutes, Struber's side twice conceded in the second half, with both Richard Kone and Paul Smyth managing to beat Radek Vitek in the Robins' net to ensure all three points
