Arunachal Pradesh marked a major industrial milestone on Monday as Union Minister for Coal and Mines G Kishan Reddy and Chief Minister Pema Khandu jointly inaugurated the state's first commercial coal mine at Namchik Namphuk in Changlang district. The launch, reported by the Press Information Bureau (PIB), is seen as a significant step towards energy security, economic growth and resource development in the North East.
