Gen Z and millennials tend to tip less often than older generations, according to a Bankrate study released this summer.

And one of those areas where it’s becoming apparent appears to be at the bar. Several bartenders reportedly shared what they’re noticing about Gen Z and their drinking habits.

What they're saying:

"Even five years ago, young people would still be kind of generous. Now they’re definitely skimping on tips," said Brit Wolfe Wilson, who has bartended on and off for a decade, told The San Francisco Standard .
