SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) - Federal prosecutors charged a man arrested for a bank robbery in Springfield on Friday.
Investigators say Oscar Hoskins walked into the O’Bannon Bank on East Sunshine, west of U.S. 65 around 11 a.m. on Friday. Tellers say he demanded money and then left the scene with a friend.
Investigators tracked him to a house on East Loren Street hours later. Police arrested him after a short standoff.
Police say the driver of the vehicle told federal authorities that Hoskins told him someone at the bank had money for him. He claimed he knew nothing about the robbery.
