Michigan State is dealing with back-to-back losses on the field and just suffered one off it.

Tyren Wortham, a 2026 four-star wide receiver from Booker High School in Sarasota, Fla., announced his decommitment from the Spartans on Monday via social media. He was previously committed to Central Florida before flipping to Michigan State in June but is looking around again.

At 6-foot-0 and 175 pounds, Wortham is listed as the No. 40 receiver and No. 246 player overall in the 2026 class, according to 247Sports Composite rankings. His recruitment has picked up in recent months, including receiving an offer from Auburn.

Michigan State now has 21 players committed to its 2026 class. There are a pair of receivers in the group in four-star Samson Gash and three-star Zachary Washington.
