Kimberly Hébert Gregory, who starred in the Lowcountry-set "Vice Principals" television show, died Oct. 3, her ex-husband shared on social media .
Gregory, 52, began her career in theater but was best known for her role as Dr. Belinda Brown on the HBO series " Vice Principals ." The show, filmed primarily in North Charleston, was produced by actor Danny McBride's Rough House Pictures studio.
"We laughed a lot making Vice Principals together, and those memories will keep us smiling. Rest easy, Kimberly. You were one of the greats — on and off camera," a post on the production company’s Instagram account said Oct. 4. It was signed, "Rough House Family.”
