Jefferson (1-4) built a 14-0 lead in the first quarter, beginning with an 18-yard touchdown run by Jackson Rockwell. Later in the quarter, Trey Ledbetter punched it in from two yards out.
The offensive explosion for the Cougars continued in the second quarter, as they found the end zone three more times. Less than two minutes into the frame, Takiem Drake took the handoff and went straight up the middle for the 40-yard touchdown, making the score 21-0.
