LONGMEADOW — Bill Fletcher, owner and pitmaster behind Fletcher’s BBQ Shop & Steakhouse on Longmeadow Street, is looking to reignite the festival scene in town.

“I’m really excited for the Fletcher’s Fall Festival. My introduction to Longmeadow was at the now-defunct Longmeadow Fall Festival, which was such a highlight in my career. Full of so much joy and laughter… and ribs!" said Fletcher in an email to The Republican. “So this feels like a little throwback to that time, and I hope it’s laying the groundwork for bigger festivals in town for the coming years.”

The festival comes after the town’s last Longmeadow Days was held in 2020 and the last Long Meddowe Fall Festival was held in 2023.
