CINCINNATI (WXIX) - Since 2023, at least 194 juveniles have been charged with violent crimes in Cincinnati.
Ten months into 2025 in Hamilton County, the juvenile court has bound one case over to adult court.
That number might sound low, and it’s sparked criticism toward the judge’s office, but a FOX19 NOW investigation reveals that number doesn’t tell the whole story.
April 12, June 12, June 19 and July 19 - each incident ended with juveniles in handcuffs, arrested for a violent crime.
“We are seeing offenders, violent offenders, younger and younger and younger than I’ve ever seen in my career,” Cincinnati Police Chief Teresa Theetge said earlier this year.
