A 2-year-old boy was killed by two large dogs after being left unattended at an unlicensed daycare in Georgia as the owner said she was napping, police said.
On Friday at 3:45 p.m., officials responded to a Valdosta residence for a child who had been attacked by dogs, according to a statement from the Valdosta Police Department. When first-responders arrived at the scene, they discovered that the child was deceased.

Earlier that day, the victim's mother dropped her child off with Stacy Wheeler Cobb, 48, who was operating an unlicensed daycare at her residence, police said.
