Georgia football has taken a beating on both sides of the ball in terms of injuries this season, but especially the offensive line.
Saturday in the Bulldogs 35-14 win over Kentucky, junior offensive lineman Monroe Freeling sustained an ankle injury during the first drive, which resulted in a 7-yard rushing touchdown by quarterback Gunner Stockton. Freeling was replaced by redshirt sophomore Bo Hughley.
After the game, Kirby Smart said they'd tried to re-tape his ankle, but Freeling just couldn't put pressure on it.
Monday, Smart said it may not be as severe as they initially thought.
