SUTHERLIN, Ore. - Elijah Ripley, a 21-year-old from Douglas County, is facing serious charges after a video surfaced of his dog attacking an injured deer in Sutherlin. The video, uploaded to social media, has sparked outrage in the community.

According to documents filed in Douglas County Circuit Court, Oregon State Police received numerous calls about the disturbing footage. The community is demanding accountability for the incident. Ripley has been charged with first-degree aggravated animal abuse and harassing wildlife.
